Dr. Anil Kumar Mishra holds Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Socioligy from the H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand. He was working as Consultant, National Key Resource Centre, Water and Sanitation at National Institute of Administrative Research (NIAR), Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration Mussoorie which was upgraded as National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG), under the aegis of Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances Govt. of India, Mussoorie since the last 11 years. Before joining to the NCGG, he was working as Social Development Specialist at the Key Resource Centre, (Water & Sanitation) in the Dr. R. S. Tolia Uttarakhand Academy of Administration, Nainital. His major role in both the organizations has been to impart and coordinate various capacity building training programmes on different aspects for civil servants. He has been associated as Scientist Fellow, with the G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment & Development, Kosi Katarmal, Almora MoEF & CC, Govt. of India. He is trained in Participatory Rural Appraisal, Community Mobilization and Participatory Management, Direct Training Skills, Design of Training and Training Need Assessment. He has been also a country delegate during various occasions in countries like Canada, Thailand and Nepal. He has more than 25 year of experience of teaching, training and research in field of social science, public policy, administration and good governance. He has been supervision of many Ph.D and Master’s students for research on social science and interdisciplinary subject. He has authored more than 30 scientific reports, academic courses for master students, articles and research papers on various aspects in the journals and books of national and international reputes.
